I’m having trouble with ideas for meals, I see people giving their babies toast, pancakes, etc. baby has 2 bottom teeth & i break up her food in little pieces or give her purees. I’m scared she will bite a whole chunk & won’t be able to swallow. I want to get her use to it, any ideas on what I can do?
He can keep going! Especially porridge he can eat a lot of it. His stomach is hard after 😔 but obviously I don’t want to deny him if he still wants more. What ways can I tell he has had enough? What is your feeding/eating schedule like? Maybe I need to do more feeds often. Is he very hungry that’s why he eats…
We do blw but gave a pouch and wasn't enjoying it
I want to restrict the amount of caffeine my 15 month old is exposed to, and provide a balanced (nutritionally) diet. My partner revealed today that he doesn't care what little one eats or drinks as they all end up having junk anyway. I have to say I disagree, and I said this to him. Now the bit where I feel like ...
So, my daughter is nearly one and has always been a great eater! She only has 2 6oz bottles a day, she has breakfast, lunch, mid afternoon snack and dinner. Recently she has been rejecting food or she will eat a bit then spit it out! Any advice, it’s driving me crazy and I’m worried she’ll be hungry!
My 8 month old isn’t showing much interest in solids he pickup pancakes strips and play around similar with purée he won’t open his mouth. I am not sure if I am feeding him when’s he full or he doesn’t like the taste . He started off rea well but now that I should do 2/3 solids per day i can hardly get one.
For those who have experienced it before, do you have any tips on helping baby through HFMD? We have been giving Calpol and small bottles of milk/sips of water. He will not breastfeed or eat much solids as it causes him too much pain. We have managed to feed him a tiny amount of plain yoghurt and a bit of soft Weeta...
Does anyone else have a fussy eater? My 2-year old have been super picky the last few months, I thought it would be a phase and it would have passed by now, but he’s currently sitting refusing to eat lasagne 😞
Okay, to preface, we have seen the doctor and we’ve gone to specialists and he’s had every test under the sun and there’s nothing wrong fundamentally with him. Which is a good thing, however our little chonk a monk decided to stop gaining weight at 9 months old. Now 16 months old and refusing most foods. Our oldest ...
I’ve tried so hard to get him to use a spoon even just for a yoghurt but he will just grab the yoghurt with his hands. Any ideas???
How is your 17 month old eating? My daughter has her favourite meals and almost refuses to eat anything else, she’s happy to snack but is pretty fussy at the moment. I’m frustrated because I’ve done all I can to avoid this situation, like always offering veggies etc. We are spending ages preparing meals for her to j...
I was so excited to introduce solids to my baby but she absolutely hates everything I try to give her 🫠🙈😂 I tried purées and finger foods, she gags and spits everything 🙄 she will only eat melty puffs but I am trying to explain to her she can’t live off milk and puffs but she’s having none of it 🙈😂 please tell me…
What are your little ones weighing at? My 9+3 week old is only weighing at 10’2 on the 9th percentile. HV said to feed him more… like I’ve not tried that or to delay his feed so he drinks more… like I’d do that to him. He only occasionally feeds 4oz and no matter what I do I can’t get him to feed anymore as he spi...
My son has been prescribed cows protine free formula. It’s very thin and I’m not sure if he is full as since being on it he is miserable. Is adding baby rice to one or two feeds ok? He is 6 months old. Has anyone else experienced this, it’s been exhausting as I’ve tried every formula and he gets mucus diarrhoea and ...
My 20m old LOVES wildlife choob yoghurts, he's had 2 already today. Plus a berry Greek yoghurt pouch. I'm 99% sure if he could he'd just eat yoghurt all day everyday. Should I be letting him eat that much? We're at a picky/fussy stage aswell
So I have a question. I made my daughter banana purée yesterday and when I took it out the freezer this morning it was brown. Is it OK to still give it to her? I’m just asking because I know banana gets brown on its own eventually.
My 15 month old has caught his first sickness bug! He’s not being sick for a good 6 hours now and finally having some snacks.. biscuit grapes etc, should I give him his milk as normal for bed? Don’t want to upset his stomach and what can I give him food wise what’s not too harsh? Tia
My LB only wants to eat the puree fruit and yogurts. He is refusing meat and veg and doesn't like the lumpy ones so it seems. What should I do as I don't want to stress him out, so I'm just giving him what he will eat at the moment. I'm worried he's not getting all the nutrition he needs from the dinners.
My baby is 7 months now and is still not interested is food / purées 😭 it’s really upsetting me every day I try and he just don’t open his mouth. I see everyone on here saying how much their baby is loving food! Why isn’t mine ?! Is this normal?’ 😭
What age do yall plan to start solid foods/ purees
