Fussy Eater

Does anyone else have a fussy eater? My 2-year old have been super picky the last few months, I thought it would be a phase and it would have passed by now, but he’s currently sitting refusing to eat lasagne 😞

I don’t have any advice but just to say I’m in the exact same boat! Can’t get her to eat any fruit at all! Struggle with veg but all I can do is blend veg into the sauce 😫

Thank you for the solidarity ❤️

Snap ! Although our LB has been super fussy since last Christmas. He was ill, then teething. He did very well with BLW. We offer a safe food with little of what we are eating. He doesn't eat any of our food. Loves cereal although this week only now eat weetabix. All very common, just keep offering a balanced meal with safe food that always eat. Annoying as hell but still growing and happy so I'm happy. I've spoke to our GP and no concerns

Sending love and solidarity! I can’t get mine to go near a vegetable and today she refused most snacks she normally scoffs up… getting a bit bored of it now tbh 🫠😂

Yeah, I’m getting really frustrated. He forever wants snacks and says ‘so hungry’ before dinner and then refuses dinner 🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s not fun anymore, but I’m glad I’m not alone

Just came here to complain about the same 😂 It's not funny it's infuriating and feel terrible that my son is not having a substantial meal. When all they want is snacks and someone says get rid of the snacks. Wish it was that easy or maybe it is and I need to be more strict 😕 Sending everyone best wishes you are all doing an amazing job.

same as @Zoey mine will only eat weetabix for breakfast and and dinner, and if he is really hungry will eat a banana he don’t want anymore anything sweets, chips, snack, favore food he used to eat in 5 min

Same, my two year old is so frustrating with food. He stopped eating 'proper' healthy dinners a year ago and hasn't gone back lol I really hoped it was a phase but it clearly isn't lol. He goes through short phases of refusing certain things like weetabix for a week then eats it all another time. It's so hard to know and when he doesn't eat it sends me to the fairrrrrr 😩

I get so worries he isn’t eating enough, but 🤷🏼‍♀️ who knows. It’s so frustrating though and it’s definitely a trigger for me, as we all eat at the same time and if I’ve gave him his plate, went to get mine, sat my bum down with my plate and he then hands me his plate and says all done and then requests a snack or gets upset if I say no, try some food sweetheart. It’s overwhelming and I just want him to eat 😂
