I would go with just water and rehydration salts for 24 hours then resume milk after. They say 8 hours after but it was really too heavy on my daughters stomach after a bug.
From my experience (two stomach bugs 😭) they tend to be sick after milk and at night. So maybe give smaller amounts and see how you are getting on? Hydration is very important though!! My girl was basically just eating toasted bread for 2 days
Food wise I've gone for plain foods so toast for breakfast, porridge for lunch etc. I also use banana to 'bind' the 💩 a little bit works a treat x
