My 8 month old has been puree fed up until now. He has had the carrot puff melts and loves them though and doesn’t really like eating from the spoon so I think we need to make a switch to include some finger foods. The issue is I have absolute extreme anxiety about him choking. I don’t find the solid starts app all ...
Anyone else in a similar situation with baby? I can’t seem to get him to eat. He’s ready as in he’s sitting up well, has good head control and constantly eyes up our food with lots of grunting. but he can’t get the hang of eating anything and he doesn’t swallow anything just spits it out. I’ve tried mashing, purée a...
Someone told me that dinner at 7 was too late for my toddler as in if it will make a difference if they eat. Does that sound strange?? I shared sometimes my toddler gets up from nap at 5pm. So I would wait the time so she is hungry. After she has anything I wait till see if she poops or until she does take her bath...
Would you leave your 6mnth old with a relative for a few hours which would include a feed of solids if they hadn't fed them before? I feel really uneasy about leaving baby with my mother in law as each time she has looked after him he usually cries when she turns back up with him, which is no more than an hour usual...
How do you not feel frustrated when your child just won’t eat anything.
Meal ideas for an almost 8 month old please?
How are everyone else’s little one’s eating? Mine eats amazing at nursery but so bad when he’s with me. Any ideas of what I can do? Help. Just trying to get him to eat lunch and dinner as breakfast he loves 😫😫
My LO is 7 months and I want to start giving yogurt either as a snack or dessert. Any recommendations on good brands
My little girl is one and still quite a picky eater, she mostly sticks to cheese, eggs, any form of carbs, fruit and yogurt. I have a two year old who eats absolutely everything so this has been quite unexpected and dinner times particularly have become a nightmare! Most nights end up with a major meltdown. I’m stil...
Hi my daughters doctor recommended yesterday I go gluten free to help with some of her digestive issues. Any one have recommendations of snacks and meals I can make or purchase? Also has anyone else been given this advice and seen improvements?
Hi, my 17 month old has started with his daycare recently and I am suppose to send his lunch for this month. He cries the whole day at daycare and doesn’t eat anything. I am just looking for ideas what I can send in his lunch box that he could pick and eat (which ofcourse is hard while crying :/). Can you share what...
I'm really struggling to get my LO to eat 'normal' meals. We mainly do BLW as he doesn't like being spoon fed, however he only seems to eat things like pancakes/toast and fruit. We eat with him and serve the same (baby friendly) as we're eating, but he just won't eat it. He just chucks it on the floor or just gets g...
Is anyone else’s toddler extremely picky? I’m actually starting to get worried because he refuses to eat most things I cook but then cries asking for “cake”. Breakfast isn’t too bad most days as he likes toast, yoghurt and cereals etc but dinner seems to not be happening 😖 Not sure what to do anymore. I even…
As I’m getting more into BLW, I find it a bit difficult to convert our suppers to be okay for her. What are your must have ingredients that allow you to whip up multiple meals?
I’m getting induced next week, any essential snack ideas people have taken in with them? 🤣
Hey I’m 2 weeks into weaning and have just been giving purées so far and mash. But whenever I try to spoonfeed my son he wants to hold the bowl and splatter the food and make so much mess. It gives me anxiety lol. Do you all let your baby make mess with the food?
Heey I just need some more ideas for dinner and lunches for my son, he loves solid foods and can be quite fussy, does anyone have an ideas?xx
My girl likes using a spoon but she's still getting the hang of it. The spoons we have just seem a bit flat so often her food will slide off it before she manages to get it into her mouth. Does anyone have recommendations for spoon that are a bit deeper so she can scoop things better?
I see posts where babies are having 3 meals, snacks AND 3-4 bottles? Where to get one of those babies? Because mine always survives on air, breastmilk twice a day, a lick of avocado and maybe couple bites of his food for the whole day. 🤷🏻♀️
What snacks are you giving your babies between meals? I have wafers and rice cakes but those aren’t very nutritious and I’m not sure if it’s good or not to keep giving those?? Or is it fine? Please also share any snack ideas that are quick and easy!
