I loved this book for inspiration: Baby-led Feeding: A Natural Way to Raise Happy, Independent Eaters https://g.co/kgs/oXCBauN
Depends on what your kids particular skill level with foods is at. At that age we were doing things like french toast fingers for breakfasts, and roast meats and veggies for dinners, but our kiddo has trended to hitting milestones quicker than average, so that may be irrelevant to you. What does your normal diet look like? Honestly mostly our approach has been just getting him used to the foods we eat, while aiming to make better choices ourselves, and saving more complex or age innaproptiate foods like things with jammy eggs or honey till hes ready for them
What do you eat? At 8 months, I was literally just offering off my plate. My kids reached for everything I was eating, so I just put it on their plates🤷🏿‍♀️ Typical day.... Breakfast homemade French toast sticks with sugar-free nut butter, hash brown, and berries. Snack yogurt and veggie sticks Lunch avocado toast, 1 egg, and the leftovers from last nights dinner Dinner rotisserie chicken, rice, black beans, and plantains. Sometimes, I premake egg omelets for breakfast just adding spinach, tomatoes, and cheese. Please don't put so much stress on your yourself. Have fun with this phase. In fact my children helped us to start eating better as a family❤️
