Weaning
Hey I’m 2 weeks into weaning and have just been giving purées so far and mash. But whenever I try to spoonfeed my son he wants to hold the bowl and splatter the food and make so much mess. It gives me anxiety lol. Do you all let your baby make mess with the food?

Yes AND I use suction bowls so they can’t go flying or I don’t put the bowl in front of him. Food on the tray and spoons are fair game though 😅
I let my 6 month old feed himself as that’s what he wants to do so yes it’s a mess🤣x
