Lunch ideas

Hi, my 17 month old has started with his daycare recently and I am suppose to send his lunch for this month. He cries the whole day at daycare and doesn’t eat anything. I am just looking for ideas what I can send in his lunch box that he could pick and eat (which ofcourse is hard while crying :/). Can you share what is easy to grab and eat that I could make for him quickly in the morning and send along? We are vegetarians and would appreciate if you guys can share vegetarian options only. Thanks so much!

Have you considered making food ahead in batches and sending it? Also, do they heat food up or does it need to be straight from the fridge?

Make it a variety of snacks! My son loves applesauce pouches, cheese, eggs, or goldfish and graham crackers if you’re okay with something less healthy

@JL they wont heat so I send him the lunch in a thermos.

Cut up some strawberries, tangerines, blackberries. Drizzle some maple syrup on them. Not too much and then dice up a potato and fry it with olive oil. Not too much then add a pinch of salt. You can add some shredded cheese on the side or ketchup for the potatoes
