FTM: Crying spells, random sadness, baby blues… anyone else?

Let me preface by saying i hate crying. Nothing wrong with those that are brave enough to cry in front of others, u just personally never really do it. But… Starting the day i was getting discharged from the hospital after my birth (C-section), I just have been so emotional. I bawled my eyes out that same night aft...

Sex after baby

Gave birth end of June and still haven't had sex with my partner. Both him and I have no desire to do it, absolutely no way to get in the zone, we tried once and we stopped before we even started as we just didn't want it, it felt forced and fake. Anyone else in a similar boat? I want intimacy and desire to come bac...

The godmother

So when I was about four months pregnant, I asked a woman I used to spend the school holidays with to be my baby's godmother. She said yes. About a month later, I had my baby prematurely and she visited two or three times. She bought some toiletries, food and clothes which I appreciated. She brought her second hus...

Crying 😓

We got stuck in bad traffic today, my almost 4 mo cried for about 45 mins, almost continuously.. nothing I did was helping much. I feel so terrible and can't get over that awful feeling of not being able to go to her and cuddle her and stop the crying. My head says it's fine, no damage done but everything else is li...

Dissociation?

Hello, I have noticed that when my baby is being looked after by someone else and not with me, I hardly think about them, like I'm not beside myself or texting the person to see if there okay. I also have noticed if someone is holding him or entertaining him that's not my partner I feel just numb/like as if a switc...

When did you ladies start feeling like yourself again or at least better?

I feel like my hormones are shifting. Or maybe because I changed my diet drastically for the better. Or maybe because I started exercising more (only been a week 😅) or maybe because my son is sleeping better at night more consistently but I’m finally starting to feel better. My son will be 2 in December. When did…

Comments about having a ‘needy’ baby

More of a rant post really lol. So my LG is almost 8 months and recently she is reluctant to go to people she doesn’t know well. I’ve had a few people say now comments like ‘oh my baby was never like that’ or ‘I’m so glad I didn’t have a needy baby, my baby would go to anyone’. I think I’ve being oversensitive but i...

Post partum hair loss

I saw another post on here about hair loss, I’m wondering if anyone had any remedies that actually worked to help regrowth? My hair is very fine as it is so it’s pretty noticeable when it’s tied up which is most of the time now when I don’t get a chance to wash it
