Crying 😓

We got stuck in bad traffic today, my almost 4 mo cried for about 45 mins, almost continuously.. nothing I did was helping much. I feel so terrible and can't get over that awful feeling of not being able to go to her and cuddle her and stop the crying. My head says it's fine, no damage done but everything else is like I've damaged my little girl by not being able to go to her and I just feel so guilty. Has anyone been through this? I know it's not my fault but I feel so bad she was left to cry so much!

I know, same thing happened to me yesterday when I was in a traffic jam 😭. It sucks massively but I keep telling myself they won’t remember it in the long run

I dread car journeys for this reason 😢 I find it so upsetting not being able to pick them up and them not understanding why. I think it happens to a lot of people and there’s nothing you can do about it but it’s so hard to experience x

Had the same experience once. My baby cried for 8 mins continuously and I just couldn’t take it. I’ve since found that playing white noise for baby sleep on Spotify helps tremendously. He falls asleep within a few minutes.

Yep happened to me too! My baby cried continually for at least 15 mins the other day, even longer a couple of weeks back when I did a long journey. Its awful but there was literally nothing I could do
