Emotions :(

I’m 20 years old, 8w4d and this is my first time being pregnant and i’m SOO emotional/hormonal. I’m crying everyday over everything. i’m worried for my mental health. I feel so guilty as deep down i know im exited to have this baby but i can’t stop crying as im so worried, i dont feel like im going to be able to do this, i dont feel like im going to be a good mum and i really feel like im going to struggle. This isn’t how i planned my life and i just feel so guilty for feeling these feelings. Is this normal?

Hi hun, the fact you’re worried about being a good mummy proves you will be. It’s really scary having your first pregnancy, I’m feeling nerves too as it’s my first. You will be an amazing mummy and the emotions will hopefully subside soon! You’ve got this Mumma 🫶🏼

Message me if you fancy a chat xx

@Ellie Honestly thankyou so much it means so much ❤️

@Anonymous Thankyou i really appreciate those kind words it’s so lovely to hear xx

@Teigan message when ever if you need to chat xx

This is soooo normal I was exactly the same with my first! I agree with what Ellie said about this means you will be a good mum because you really care. It’s a hugely scary life adjustment but absolutely worth it, my son is the joy of my life and I was crying exactly like you were until around the 12 week scan when he began to feel more real and knew i’d make it work for him xx

@Lor thankyou so much 🫶🏼❤️
