Sex after baby

Gave birth end of June and still haven't had sex with my partner. Both him and I have no desire to do it, absolutely no way to get in the zone, we tried once and we stopped before we even started as we just didn't want it, it felt forced and fake. Anyone else in a similar boat? I want intimacy and desire to come back but it literally feels as if we're friends, thought of sex feels so unnecessary.

If it makes you feel any better, my partner and I haven’t had sex since we conceived our little boy - so about a year ago. He felt weird about having sex when I was pregnant and now we’re just so exhausted and too busy to even think about sex. I also feel like we’re just friends at the moment but I know it won’t last forever.

Same here, but again we havent since i fell pregnant. Its annoying but it gets better. We have said its the little things that help so dont need fancy date nights out, just notice each other more. Its easy to lose sight of that part but it comes back, must do as i just had baby no2 x

Haven’t since I got pregnant and before that it was still only around once a month 😂 I’m not fussed by it, I might make some effort once baby is in his own room but until then I’m not bothered

If I'm honest I would have a sit down with your partner and work out if there are any issues. 100 percent babies make sex feel more tiring but not having sex at all is not healthy for a sexual relationship . Xx do not want to worry you at all just have a chat with your partner as if that goes it becomes a friendship . Affection is also important for a child to see - obviously not sex but cuddles and kisses between mum and dad xxx

We haven't had sex since conception, I felt too sick initially in pregnancy and the more pregnant I got the less sexy I felt and also doing it with a baby in my belly felt weird. Now we're absolutely knackered (the joy of 2 kids) and also feel weird doing it in the same room as the baby. We will get back to it but for now we're just enjoying everything else in our relationship x
