Following. Last week this started for me. Hair is just falling out all the time. Also breastfeeding.

I am facing similar issue. 3.5 months postpartum

For me personally, postpartum hair loss was worse with my first baby than with my second, but I’m also only 3.5 months postpartum so it can peak anywhere from 3-6 months postpartum. With my first, the hair loss was alarming but it does slow down. I’ve also noticed that I took an iron supplement this postpartum vs last postpartum so idk if that’s made a difference but it could be worth asking your doctor to check your iron levels since they deplete a lot postpartum. Also, diet and hydration and how you take care of your hair matters too. This time around I’ve been strict to not wash my hair more than 2-3 times a week, detangling hair dry before washing, not using hair brushes, no hair dryer or heat, no tight hair ties or hairstyles, etc to help reduce excessive shedding. The post hair loss is by far my least favorite postpartum symptom, but it gets better! But of course if it’s really alarming, don’t hesitate to talk to your doctor and dermatology to rule out any underlying issues.
