How do I stop my son from eating his poo

Hello, this is so embarrassing and disgusting but my son has started eating his poop, he was diagnosed with moderate autism, so no way of making him understand that what he is doing isn’t right since he does not understand us. Anyone else go through this struggle or just me ?

Introvert husband extrovert wife!!

I am extrovert and my spouse is complete introvert. He wouldn’t make any effort to have social circle, even if I bring my friends he will find an excuse and will not stay there. I am finding it too hard without people, and people of my age are all married and have kids. I feel terrible to go just with kids, and in ...

How do you start? Do you just remove the nappy one day and that’s it or ask them to go on a potty a few times a day?

Controlling

How can I let go? My husband says I want to be in control 24/7 with everything but I think its from the trauma he caused in our relationship and the lack of rebuilding I needed to see.

Random question - sensory issue??

Does anyone know why or has their little one done the same thing as mine in this video? We did painting hands when she was about 8 months and she did the retching and we didn’t think anything of it but we did it again the other day and it was a strong reaction 🤔 We baked some bread today and when she came to help…

Unpopular opinion

Okay so I’m afraid to say this a little as feel I’ll get hate but I haven’t found having a baby hard 🤷🏻‍♀️ I get I am probably very lucky to feel this, but generally it’s been best time of my life, I enjoy all of it, yes I had nights when I was exhausted but a friend said to me, have you got angry at baby yet and I…

Nappies or pull ups…

My little one hasn’t started potty training yet but was wondering if I should change her to pull ups. She’s 17 months old and is in size 5/6 nappies. Are your little ones in pull ups or still nappies?

9 month old inconsistent in solids

I've been giving my baby boy solids (puree and tastes of the foods I eat) for a while now, for a few months. We started off with cereals and his stomach didn't love it so we stopped it and I just give him fruit/veggie purées. Problem is he only will eat it once a day and now he is not very interested as he'd rathe...

Question for the group:

How much, if anything, would you pay? So, I have a 7mo and I work nights 2-3 nights per week. I've had someone living here since end of May. They paid a little the 1st few months but they got close with my son and I trusted them enough to babysit while I work. They haven't paid anything to live here the last couple...

Husband says he “can’t handle newborn” crying, is this normal?

This is our second child. He was pretty much the same with our first but i thought that was partially due to the fact that it was all new and unexpected. However, now even with our second newborn, my husband just gets so stressed when the baby cries. I just left the baby with him while I took a shower, I came out...

Utensils??

When should we start introducing/teaching utensils? My 14 month old seems to want to try and use them on his own but is entirely unsuccessful. He obviously eats some things off a spoon or fork but fed by me. Every now and then I can hand him a spoon and he’ll feed himself. He started recently taking an empty spoon, ...

Can't deal with Dictator Dad

It's relentless, every interaction my husband has with our daughter lately ends in a power battle where he's decided exactly how things are going to go, she disagrees/wants to do things differently, he digs his heels in and is really strict and stern with his words, she's not being listened to in the slightest and f...

Teaching to spoon feed - is it even possible 🤣

How on EARTH are we teaching our babies to spoon feed themselves?! My LO will put an already loaded spoon in his mouth himself maybe once and will kind of dip the spoon into a bowl occasionally if I show him, but honestly he just launches the spoon every time 🙄😩 Between that and constantly chucking his food on…
