Appreciate it should all be washed regardless of pregnancy! But not everyone is in the habit, and sometimes it's just forgotten. My husband is awful for washing produce, I have to tell him every single time and if I don't it doesn't happen. So now I've just had unwashed grapefruit and am trying to reassure myself it...
Can anyone recommend a white noise machine that doesn’t cost a lot please?
So I am due 1st October making me almost 36 weeks... I thought at my 34 weeks appointment, the midwife was meant to go through birth plans etc? Well I had that appt last week (when I was already 35 weeks might I add!) only to be told it would be at my 36 week appointment.... Is this correct? The date I've got for ...
Hi ladies! Does anyone know of any good pregnancy yoga or exercise classes near Rackheath please? 🙏🏼 x
It’s my first pregnancy. My partner and I drove to Cornwall last week (around 5-6 hours) and I was struggling with lower back pain when driving. We shared the driving, but I’ve got some 3 hour drives to do on my own later in the month. Will a pregnancy belt/support band help me? Any other tips?
Me and my partner keep fighting. About sugar above all. I’m not smokin or drinking or having caffeine I’m eating clean but I do have a sweet tooth. Before I was pregnant I was having sugar every day like a lucozade and chewy sweets. I’m ngl I stopped having that a couple days ago went 2 days with out any sugar. Yest...
I’m 32+3 and was diagnosed with GD at 28 weeks. I’ve been really good with my diet and readings over the past few weeks. I’ve come down with a head cold the last few days and feeling rubbish. When I’m ill, I just want to eat whatever I want and not have to make/cook. I’m seriously craving shit food right now for th...
Got diagnosed yesterday. Anyone got any tips on what to eat going forward?

Hi all, does anyone have a contact number for the Stapleford midwives? The number on Badger notes isn’t in service and the Beeston mail box is full. I’m absolutely fine I just need discharging ☺️
Found a faint line Tuesday, confirmed with digital so this is over time since Tuesday
I’m 8 or 9 DPO (I use 2 different tracking apps) Anyone else see it? I had the same last month but it must of been an evaporation line.. I was definitely a lot further on last month in my DPO so I’m praying this is real this time..
I was just diagnosed with GD and I got the emotional waves out the way. My fasting and 1 hr blood readings were normal but, my 2hr and 3hr were higher. I honestly thought I was doing great with diet and being mindful. I’m so nervous. I’m 29 weeks and I already have low iron but it’s not extremely low but I still nee...
I have just found out I’m pregnant I did a self referral on George Elliot hospital I have had a email saying my information has been processed now I need to ring my gp for a midwife appointment. I have done that and my gp has now said they do not have any midwife’s there anymore , and has given me Leicester communi...
Hey all, after doing your self referral, how long did it take before you were sent through appointment dates? I'm currently 7+2 and I referred myself last Wednesday at 6 weeks. Also, I'm pregnant with my second child and I've forgotten everything...am I supposed to let my GP know? I haven't done this yet xx
I have a glucose test as my BMI was 30 I think when I found out I was pregnant, just wondering if anyone had diabetes and had any problems? Did it go after pregnancy
First day of my last period was 26th July, meaning approx due date is 2nd May… leaving me at 5weeks 1 day today. I’m still only getting 1-2 weeks on the Clear blue tests - same as Sunday last week. Surely this should be 2-3 by now? Just worried this isn’t progressing 😭
I have a few… 🥴 -I’ve been eating ham. Cant give up my cold ham sandwiches dawg 😭 -Scooping cat litter box (with protection) coz my husband fuckin sucks at doing it regularly -Every once in a while I go a little over my recommended caffeine intake. And sugar. I’m a sugar whore 😭 But I don’t have GD fortunately.
I am 37+1 and have to do finger pricking for 1 week to see if I have gestational diabetes. The midwife showed me how to do it, and my sugars measured as extremely low and I feel really deflated about the whole thing, but I don't know why😩😩. Anybody else testing/been diagnosed and feel the same?
I really would love a pregnancy massage, does anyone have any recommendations around the Croydon/purley area? 💕
