What’s one thing you’ve been doing that’s not advised in pregnancy?

I have a few… 🥴 -I’ve been eating ham. Cant give up my cold ham sandwiches dawg 😭 -Scooping cat litter box (with protection) coz my husband fuckin sucks at doing it regularly -Every once in a while I go a little over my recommended caffeine intake. And sugar. I’m a sugar whore 😭 But I don’t have GD fortunately.

I get scared to go over the caffeine recommendation!! Cause I read that the baby can come out at a low birth weight or something. I try to stay within 200 mg or less. I been eating turkey sandwiches lol. My husband does the litter he actually gets pissed if I try to do it . I just be sleeping a lot! I’m trying my best to stay active and do labor exercises I’m almost 36 weeks

I lived off Diet Coke 😭 Every steak I've eaten was either medium or medium rare. I've eaten runny egg yolks. Some heavy lifting (husband is deployed so I gotta do it) I'm sure there's more I've done 😂

@Alexis ok you just jogged my memory lol I drink Coke Zero! Not everyday but like 3x a week LOL and I’ve eaten runny eggs hahahaha

Now that I am in my third trimester I have been slightly going over my caffeine intake and she went from 40th percentile to 59th!! I was very careful about it the first and second trimester. I haven't really changed my diet at all since getting pregnant, besides drinking more Body Armour for the extra nutrients and prenatals. I'm with you on the sugar, I have been craving ice cream and chocolate and I normally don't like chocolate all that much so there is that.

@Shazia nothing like a crispy Diet Coke/Coke Zero 😍🥰

I have 3 shot espressos daily, I never stopped eating cold cuts, I haven’t taken any Prenatals, runny eggs… lol honestly, outside of laying off medium rare steaks… I rarely drink sodas or juices, I have ice cream maybe once a week etc. my grandma had 19 kids in a third world country lollll they’re all still kicking by

I have a problem with the sugar, and I have GD. And I have a mtn dew once a week (which was actually approved by my Dr)

I take beef liver and real folate instead of prenatals. I didn't get the diabetes test this time or the gbs testb

All of the above.. wait reading comments above what the heck since when can you not eat eggs while pregnant? Lol that's my main source of protein.

@Brittany Staley runny eggs only due to risk of salmonella and stuff… it’s My fave too 🤣🤣

I started eating my eggs with runny yolks again in my third trimester, I pick up my almost 40lb toddler, have a crazy sweet tooth so I’ve been eating a lot of sweets and have had Coke Zero on and off throughout the entire pregnancy. I’ve managed to stay away from cold cuts, medium rare steak, alcohol and sushi but I miss them so much! Can wait to indulge after delivery!

@Pamela Noelle I've literally never been told that on baby number 4 😂

@Brittany Staley yes supposedly sunny side up eggs is supposedly risky or something. I just make sure it’s over easy at least and still runny

@Shazia I usually make my eggs medium rare lol

Omg I’ve been eating sushi as well! Not raw fish though just california rolls and shrimp tempuras!
