ellaOne & Breastfeeding

Has anyone take ellaOne and breastfed their baby? I stupidly took it and didn’t realise I couldn’t breastfeed and my LO will not take a bottle. The advice is don’t but there doesn’t seem to be much research as to why..?!

Pumping at work

I just started working again and between pumping time and cleaning the parts after it’s a little over a half hour and I can’t be gone that long. Does anyone use pumping wipes? Or the fridge method? Or any tips to make the cleaning go faster?

Do your toddlers still have milk in the morning / before bed?

My daughter still has milk (out a cup) in the morning and evening. I’ve read this should be discontinued at 12 months so I’m not wondering if I should’ve stopped a while ago! Or is this just from a bottle? Welcome any insights into what others are doing!

How to get milk supply back?

Hiya everyone! Basically I was apart from my baby for over a week for health reasons and wasn’t able to pump in the meantime, so she’s been bottle feeding. And then I was recovering for a week following too. I want to try breast feeding and expressing again, but I’ve found that I can’t get one drop out. I’m trying ...

Bloody Milk?

I went to go feed my baby this morning and realized my milk is bloody. Yesterday I did notice my boob hurt however it was nothing to write home about. I read that you can continue to breastfeed with bloody milk. I am just curious has anyone had this? How long did it last? Is it cause for concern?

Cold breastmilk

I exclusively pump and store my milk in the fridge once expressed, I’ve always given my baby boy the milk straight from the fridge and he’s been absolutely fine but family and friends have judged loads. Does anyone else do this? Or is it important it’s heated? First time mum with no idea

Colostrum help!

I know this gets asked so many times, but I just want to be 100% sure what I’m doing is correct! Tried for the first time today and managed to get 0.2ml (even if it’s not a lot, I’m proud of myself!) Should I now freeze this straight away and start a new syringe when I try again tomorrow? Or can it be kept in the ...

How often do you breastfed in a 24-hour period?

With my LO on 3 meals, breastfeeding has reduced some naturally, but I am struggling to figure out if I should offer the breast less often. Tho I fed on demand, I guess, I've also always offered the breast when it fitted into the routine. If I don't offer, my LO can go a long time without requesting for it, but I a...

Low Supply

So my daughter nurses when she's with me and I pump while I'm at work (8-4:30). I used to get 8-10 ounces while at work and now I'm lucky to get 5. When she nurses, she seems satisfied and doesn't eat more frequently. So how come I'm barely getting anything when I pump? Please help.

Nursing sports tops?

Has anyone managed to find a company/brand which sells sports nursing top? Ones made from wicking or quick drying fabrics rather than cotton or bamboo? Lots of companies seem to do nursing sports bras but stop there and don’t do tops?!

Newborn

My husband gave the baby watered down bottle. The bottle maker didn’t have enough formula so the bottle was more water than milk. Is that bad? She only drank 1.5 oz

Breastfeeding

After a very rocky start of baby being in nicu for 3 weeks, my milk supply dwindled to basically nothing. He’s now nearly 7 weeks old and after working very hard, continuously pumping and breastfeeding, my milk supply is now nearly where it should be to exclusively breastfeed. Only issue is, I now have extremely cra...

No judgement please

I’m exclusively breast feeding my daughter. She is 7 weeks old, I was a full time vaper before pregnancy and quit cold turkey, however past few weeks I’ve been really stressed out and she’s not sleeping and picked it up again. I only vape maybe once or twice a day out the window in different room and when she goes d...

Over breastfeeding

Here lately my baby has been seriously teething and yesterday he started gnawing and tugging on my nipples like they’re a piece of meat. He’ll literally grab my boob with both his hands, bite down, and tear my boob right out of his mouth. And he does it so quickly I don’t even get time to break the seal on his latch...
