Do your toddlers still have milk in the morning / before bed?

My daughter still has milk (out a cup) in the morning and evening. I’ve read this should be discontinued at 12 months so I’m not wondering if I should’ve stopped a while ago! Or is this just from a bottle? Welcome any insights into what others are doing!

I’ve just cut out the bedtime feed so only having a feed first thing in the morning now, which I plan to drop by the end of this year 😊 NHS recommends breastfeeding up to 2 years so that’s what I’ve kind of been aiming towards.

Why should milk be cut out by 12 months? It's a brilliant source of calcium and other vitamins. I breastfed until my little one was 11 months old (he weaned himself otherwise I would have carried on) and from 12 months, he's always had a warm milk at bedtime from a bottle with a straw x

It's bottles that they should be moving away from at 12 months, not having milk. But even that isn't an issue personally as long as she's having her teeth brushed after their milk and before they fall asleep

My LB is 18 months, stopped bf at 14 months and always has a bottle of milk before bed and then brush his teeth after. I worry about the bottle but it took so long to get him onto a bottle 😂, everything is just guidelines, we all will parent in our own way, just do what you think is best for your LO :)

My LG has a bottle in the morning and before bed and on the odd occasion a little bottle for her afternoon nap if she’s home with me.
