Baby acne?

I keep seeing pictures of baby acne vs CMPA rash but they are absolutely no help. I’m asking here because my LO is colicky, struggles to poo (but when he does it’s diarrhea) and now his face looks like this? The GP has fobbed me off twice now (two different doctors) both just giving him a different laxative and tell...

How are we bathing our babies? When mine was tinier and less active I would lean her back in her tub so the soapy water would run through the back of her head. But now she won’t lean back and it’s a struggle to wash her head/ hair because all the water gets in her face/ nose and she doesn’t like it. Any advise? It...

Bath products for toddlers

Is it ok to use bubble baths like the ones you get in gift sets at Xmas ? My little girl is 3 years old and was going to put bubble baths and bath bombs etc in her stocking. Currently we use Aveeno or Childs farm but I wondered if we could start using other things now.

Blood tests!

I have my first appointment later this month and I’ll be having a blood test. I’ve got a massive phobia of needles and I’m very prone to passing out but I’m worried my midwife won’t take me seriously as most medical professionals don’t. How many blood tests (roughly) will I be expected to have? Trying to prepare mys...

Newborn bathing

Hi, my son is 18 days old. His cord fell off by 7 days old and I’ve been bathing him every other day, how often should you bath a newborn? Can I bath him everyday? I don’t want to irritate his delicate little skin by doing it everyday and I’m really unsure. Some people have told me once a week but that seems ins...

Showering

Single FTM here. How the hell are you guys showering? I just have enough time to get a wash and brush my teeth and get dressed before my boy needs me again. I also have no idea what to do with him while I shower. I have a bouncer but he’s a little too small for it for me to leave him in it for that long while I show...

How often does your baby poo on hydrolysed formula?

My 4 month old is only pooing once every 4 days. He seems really uncomfortable in the days leading up to his poo and when he finally goes it’s a big explosion. Is this normal? Is it just his body getting used to the formula?
