Bathroom trips with newborn

When you are home alone with newborn and you need to use the bathroom do you take them with you or leave them in crib???? Wondering this for when my partner goes back to work lol

I put him in the bassinet and leave the door open

If she is awake I take her and lay her outside the bathroom on a blanket for tummy time. If she's asleep I put her in her bassinet

It depends… lol If I’m going to pee then I lay her in the bassinet. She can cry for a few minutes; no problem. If I’m going to be longer than that then I’ll use her bouncer chair in front of the door with the door open so I can see her. But we also have a camera over her bassinet so if she’s already comfortable in there then I won’t move her.

I put mine in her bassinet and leave the door open a crack because I have a almost 1 year old too who follows me to the bathroom

I leave my newborn wherever she is at that moment and take my toddler, so she doesn’t mess with her sister 😅

Leave her in crib or her swing. If she cries she will be okay. Teaches independence as long as it’s not longer than 5 mins
