Showering

I used to only shower when there was someone with my baby for my firstborn but looking back I definitely could have put my daughter down in her next to me while I showered This time I am a bit more relaxed and took a shower today with my son in his next to me in my bedroom

Hey! I put mine in the Moses basket on the floor when my partner is not around and I desperately need a shower 🤷🏻‍♀️

I put mine in his next to me cot and then I set up the monitor so I can watch him whilst I shower lol

I thankfully have a partner who works from home. However I find showering in the evenings to work so he has him and I can take a nice 30/40 minute shower and pamper session. I’ve also had baby in a bouncer in the bathroom one time but if he’s just gone down for a nap I leave him wherever just make sure I can hear him if need be. I still take my time cause crying for 5/10 minutes won’t do him harm whilst I dry and get dressed

I place my baby on the changing mat and she loves the sound of the water

My lo is 2 weeks, I am a smelly mess! And I have my partner home at the moment. I have no idea how I’m showing to be once my partner goes back to work. Especially as I have two dogs who are intense, so she will not be able to be out of my sight.

My babies have gone in the next to me and I’ve just been as quick as I can. They are absolutely fine! My husband works away so I have to be able to do it alone and I can’t not shower for 2 months 😅

Thanks so much girls, these messages are so reassuring. My theory was I can’t possible call my friends every time I need to shower, there must be a way. I hate him being out of sight for long, which is daft considering I sleep and he’s not being watched. Gonna have to learn to shower at the speed of light. 😂😂😂

I take my baby in a Moses basket into the bathroom. That way I can totally relax and have a proper shower without stressing about her xxx

My bubs is also too small for a Bouncer right now, I know its not great but needs must so I use the car seat, she's not fully tightened in but enough that she won't flail around, she's very settled if she goes in after a feed and seems to enjoy the noise of the shower!

I put changing mat down and put sleepyhead on top of it in on bathroom floor. Ive also taken camera in if she’s in her next to me but I have left her on my bed (I can actually see her on there from the shower)

I put my 5 week old on his Angel Care bath seat thingy with a sleep bag on it so it isn't cold. He seems really happy in it for a little while whilst I am on the loo or in the shower, I can see him the whole time and it isn't heavy to lug around. I got it for £5 on Facebook marketplace x
