Calpol and teething

I think my 16 week old is teething and want to give some calpol to help with it however didn’t know if they had to have a temperature to have calpol. Don’t want to give it when I shouldn’t.

Pee problems

My son is 17 months and recently started sticking his hands down his pants any chance he gets. It’s gotten to the point where he has started to do it in his sleep, and his penis will then stick up and he will be drenched in his own pee. I’ve had to do laundry every day this week to wash his bedding. I’ve resorted ...

Potty or straight to a toilet ladder with padded seat?

We have one bathroom in the house. My little girl is a confident walker now and loves climbing. I'm wondering if I should skip the potty and try those toilet ladders for her to sit on? Has anyone tried it?

Potty training suggestions

We have started potting training My almost 2.5 year old about a week ago without much success. We are doing underwear only during the day and diapers to sleep. I bought a potty and potty training chart with stickers as rewards. I even bought a watch for her to wear that has a timer and sings every time is time to go...

2 y/o holding in her pee (potty training)

I introduced the potty when she was 11 months old. "Just got fun" and no pressure. So she learned pretty quickly what it was for. She knows that pee and poo goes in there. But she grew to be a busy toddler and didn't wanna be bothered enough to sit so we stopped. Today I took the diapers away and had her run bare ...

Public toilets for toddlers are vile!! Is My Carry Potty good?

Hi All, My 2.5 year old almost 3 is not 100% potty trained yet. So when we’re out and about I take her to a disabled or female toilet and let her go (of course tissue on seat and wiping down prior. BUT I am so sick of seeing how disgusting these public toilets are whether in parks, restaurants or coffee shops. It ...

Learning to wipe

So, my five year old boy is nearly fully potty trained. It took us until recently to accomplish this due to him being a little delayed cognitively and speech-wise, but he's there and I'm super proud. The only consistent issue we are having at this point is how to teach him to wipe correctly after pooping. He doesn't...

Teething?!

Little one is 8 months old and no teeth yet so not 100% sure. Last few days she’s been really dribbly and blowing lots of raspberries. She’s had a little rash appear on her cheek (she does suffer with eczema but it’s been clear for a few months now), she’s also started having a few more soiled nappies and a sore bum...

When to buy teething pain relief

My 4 month old shows all signs of teething. Except for swollen gums because I haven’t checked that. How would I even know if they are swollen. When do I buy pain relief for teething I don’t wanna buy it and then he doesn’t need it but he seems a lot more fussy and irritable lately. Is that pain?

Bleeding gums

Whenever I floss, my gums bleed a lot but not when I brush my teeth. I was at the dentist today and run it by him and he said it's because I'm pregnant.. wondered if anyone else has this? He said it's so important I keep flossing but it's quite unpleasant and really makes me not want to floss! Thanks in advance

Is pooing a lot normal during teething?

My little girl has currently got her front two bottom teeth coming through and she's also weaning as of two weeks ago The last week or so, she's been pooing a lot more, twice per day and some of them have mucus in which I know is to do with teething. Today she pooed first thing this morning, during her breakfast an...

Not ready??

Hi, my daughter is 3 next week and we've been without daytime nappies for about 5 weeks now. However, it still seems she doesn't know when she needs to go to the toilet?? And will never take herself. We have had days without any wee accidents but it's very reliant on us making sure she regularly uses the toilet. Po...

Potty training

My little girl has starting showing interest in the potty and I’m not completly sure if she’s ready to potty train yet or not. She will let me know when she has gone potty in her diaper and bring me a new one so I can change her. I have started bringing her into the bathroom with me when I go. And she will squat dow...
