Public toilets for toddlers are vile!! Is My Carry Potty good?

Hi All, My 2.5 year old almost 3 is not 100% potty trained yet. So when we’re out and about I take her to a disabled or female toilet and let her go (of course tissue on seat and wiping down prior. BUT I am so sick of seeing how disgusting these public toilets are whether in parks, restaurants or coffee shops. It honestly makes me heave when some are so filthy and even puddles on floors. I always make sure my toddler doesn’t touch anything not even the tap when washing her hands. I want to get her a portable one that I can take in the toilet but let her sit on it. At least I know it’s hers, no one has used it and it’s clean. I’d wipe it down after each use. So is this My Carry Potty worth it? It says to use until age 3 but I want to use it out of hygiene. Any advice or recommendations?

We have one of these and use it all the time for our little boy! He’s 3 in early December - I didn’t realise there was a recommended age for it, I’m sure we’ll keep using it past then as it’s great for our and about when they need to go but there isn’t a toilet nearby x

We bought one but my daughter refuses to use it🫠 they are v small!

We’ve got one, it took my two a while to agree to sit on it but now they’re happy enough on it. The potette is a popular alternative in one of the groups I’m in.

We use a My Carry Potty as her potty at home and out and about and really like it.

I have one and my son has used it loads. Very handy

Iv never had one of these for any of my kids if they need a wee while we’re out we just find a bush to lift her up 🤷🏼‍♀️xx

Even worse for non potty trained kids that don't fit on changing tables anymore, I have to put my coat down on toilet floors to change him if there's no changing places

I used one while we were potty training but I don't anymore. If they're really awful I hover her over the bowl

I've bought one, initially she refused to use it, however last weekend we have been out and about all day and once she done her first wee in, she loved it. So much easier then trying to make them to not touch anything in a filthy toilet. We are using it wherever she asks for a wee, street, park, wherever. I would try to not expose her, dresses are great, and issue sorted.

We've used my carry potty daily since we potty trained 3 months ago. Godsend for public toilets, even parks, long journeys etc

We use one for when we’re out and about and it’s great, didn’t realise that it had an age on it as my niece 3.5 nearly 4 still uses hers when out and about as public loos are gross. We just pour it out in the loos and give it a rinse if we’re in a disabled loo or something but they have a seal so it shouldn’t leak or anything if you can’t get to somewhere to clean it straight away. I’ve also heard of liners that have a gel inside that you can just tie up and chuck in the bin x

We have a portable p but we also have a child’s toilet cover which is much smaller and you just cover the public toilet. I know public toilets are horrible but this way their bottoms aren’t on the seat. Think to use a potty all the time may nog help with a full transition to using a toilet.
