When to buy teething pain relief

My 4 month old shows all signs of teething. Except for swollen gums because I haven’t checked that. How would I even know if they are swollen. When do I buy pain relief for teething I don’t wanna buy it and then he doesn’t need it but he seems a lot more fussy and irritable lately. Is that pain?

My lo had his first tooth at 4 and a half months, now he’s getting his 5th at 7months 🙈 he was drooling a lot and was put off his bottles/biting everything/irritated/gums felt warm and looked a tad red To be sure I took a small glass and put it against his lower gums and was able to see that the teeth were visible

My daughter started teething at 4 months. She drooled excessively and chewing on her close fist. She was very fussy and a lil warmed. I gave her Tylenol and Motrin. Alternate them. She felt better the next 2 days.

Hylands oral pain tablets!! Work amazing!!
