Calpol and teething

I think my 16 week old is teething and want to give some calpol to help with it however didn’t know if they had to have a temperature to have calpol. Don’t want to give it when I shouldn’t.

I've given Calpol for teething. Also the teething granules are really good

Calpol is also for pain and discomfort. As long as you’re not giving it for every grizzle it’s fine x

Calpol is paracetamol for infants. You can give it for any form of pain relief including teething.

Totally fine! I’ve also been giving teetha teething granules. With calpol I often don’t give the full dose for teething and it works well. Then cold cloths and frozen toys work super well x

As an above comment said it’s just paracetamol so isn’t just for temps, you just have to be careful as if they were to get a temp for another reason the calpol would mask it so you wouldn’t necessarily know something was wrong
