Anyone had metformin for gestational diabetes look like it’s working to bring the blood sugar levels down for the first week or so and then just go back to being high? What I eat doesn’t make a difference they’re so up and down!

After getting the news I don’t have gestational diabetes, the doctors have told me it’s suspected Down syndrome. It sounds selfish but I don’t know how to feel, I’m still so young and after only finding out I was pregnant at 6 months. I don’t know if I can do this 😞
