Midwife

I'm about 6 weeks and it's been confirmed I'm pregnant at the doctors. Has anyone heard from the midwives yet?x

Yeah I had my face to face midwife appointment last week at 5weeks 3days I guess it all depends when you self refered to the hospital and my 12week scan will be 23rd September however already had an early scan last Saturday and got another one at 9 weeks

I’m 5 weeks and got my midwife appointment booked for 2nd September and first scan for 9th September

I’ve had a letter for my first midwife appoint on the the 21st! I’m 6+4 today. My letter came last week!

I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and I've still not heard anything. I feel like with first daughter I had an appointment at 6 weeks

Normally your first midwife appointment is between 8-10 weeks x

@Ella thank you 😊 x

I referred myself at 4 weeks pregnant (on a Friday) and heard back from the midwife by the Wednesday to book me in for my first appointment, which is scheduled for week 7 of pregnancy x

I self referred at 5 weeks and I’ve been booked for my booking appointment at 9+1

@Samantha how do you self refer?

I’m 6 weeks 3 days and my first appointment isn’t until mid September 🤷‍♀️ depends on your area I think… also double check any information they put in…. They have my due date as 01/05… technically I’d currently be minus days pregnant 😂

If it helps I just googled my NHS trust maternity + self referral and the page came up with an online form to fill out with your details and they then get in touch with you x

I’m 7 weeks tomorrow. GPs here don’t confirm pregnancy sadly, they just advise you to ring midwives. I self referred last week to antenatal clinic and I have my first booking appointment with a consultant in 2 weeks, so I’ll be 9 weeks then.

I am 6 weeks and got my booking appointment for early September. Do you book the first scan at the booking appointment?

No we didn't we got a letter through with a date and time for the 1st scan that came before our 1st booking appointment
