Anyone been diagnosed with GD this late? I'm 35 weeks, previously tested negative for it but now have it.

Anyone doing Glucose monitoring tests for two weeks for Gestational Diabetes? Rather than the liquid test? I started mine today and my blood sugar levels were through the roof by tonight although not eating terrible foods? Started out normal this morning though? Can’t help panicking thinking I’m hurting the baby 😔

I swear I can see something but this is 8dpo and late afternoon wee so it might be clearer in the morning 😅

Hi everyone, So I’m currently taking Metformin 1x a day as I have gestational diabetes (currently 26 weeks), and my midwife has advised me to take 2x after breakfast and 1x after dinner, I feel slightly nervous doing that, has anyone been in this position?

I’ve called them on two different occasions now, first time waited on hold for 45 minutes, second time 1 hour 30 minutes on hold. Just wanted to see if other trusts are also like this or I’m just unlucky with mine 🥲
