Luton and Dunstable hospital?

Hi all, I’ve just had a shocking first scan appt and don’t have much hope for having my baby at L&D - the staff were horrible, the environment wasn’t clean, they made me wait 30mins for my appt with a full bladder and didn’t explain anything or answer my questions adequately during the scan. On top of this, a recen...

To sweep or not to sweep?

I’m 39+5 and have lost a significant amount of my mucus plug today. I was going to contact the hospital today to request a sweep (my community midwife can’t fit me in until I’m 40+3) but I’m now wondering if I should just wait it out and see what happens? I know losing mucus plug isn’t necessarily an indicator but ...

Waters broke!

My waters went at 8am this morning. Trying so hard to stay calm and not absolutely panic 😂 barely anything was ready, only half way through packing hospital bag and washing clothes etc. Getting cramps every 20 mins or so and have the world's WORST haemorrhoids 😂 wish me luck!
