C section pain

Hi everyone I am 5 week pp and still painful to leave the bed in the morning or sitting straight in the couch/chair. The wound looks healing properly. How do I know if it is healing properly from inside? Should I go to the doctor? Pain increases as the day pass by with peak at night time. The pain is sometimes a sharp pain and other times its like a constant muscle pain. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks

Yes please go to the doctor. I had an emergency c And the only time I was in any remote pain was the first three days after surgery and that was more so mild discomfort rather than anything. Something is wrong please go get checked and If that doctor says you are fine then get another.

I would understand being uncomfortable but you shouldn’t be in pain

Yes go get checked

I think everyone is different and heals differently. I’m now 10 weeks pp and I still sometimes have pain and at 5 weeks i definitely did. That being said it’s always best to check with a dr xx

Thank you all. I will go to get it checked

I’d go to the doctor and get it checked out. They’ll check if your uterus is going back to normal etc. are you still bleeding ?

I was in pain for like 8 -9 weeks. Then it got better. I am 13 weeks postpartum and still feel it depending on what I do. I went to physical therapy for my back but we looked into the scar, some of the exercises recommended were laying on my belly (teaches your brain is not as painful as you think-I was terrified of doing it the first time), and scar massages

I had my first c section 7 years ago, I was in pain for 2 weeks, then afterward I was just uncomfortable and cautious. Everyone is different, but if you think you should see a doctor then do so

Thanks everyone. I went to ED and it was and UTI what was causing all the trouble
