For my 3 sections I went in a 7am in the morning and didn't go down theatre til round 1ish in the afternoon
Your allowed to drink water just not food
I had to be there for 7am and was meant to be the second down but ended up being the first down and went down about 9am. Good luck mumma you'll be absolutely fine 🙂 xx
I went in at 8 am and my section was around half 4 in the afternoon 🫠
Went in at 7am. Waiting with 3 other ladies in the room. I ended up being 3rd in and baby was born 11.45am.
I had to be there for 7am but didn’t go in until 3pm, there were lots of delays at my hospital though
With my second my show up time was 11, baby was born at 1. With my third show up time was 10 and he was born at 105. The hospital where I had my 3rd only does 1 planned csection a day, it's a small hospital. But I went into labor the day before and they offered to stop my contractions for a day so my doctor would be able to perform my csection. It still didn't take any longer than it would have with the original plan. They have to do a certain amount of monitoring of the baby, get your iv going, get you all prepped and everything, move you onto the OR, get your spinal block in place and then get things going.
Told to get to hospital at 12, c section was at 5pm in the end as an emergency came in! Keep drinking water anytime you feel hungry! Good luck x
I was there at 7am and didnt get seen till around half4 🫣
I thinks depends the hospital, I had to be there 7:00 AM and only had my delivery at 11:00. I couldn’t have any food/drinks from 00:00.
