Reflux or CMPA

We have just started to take omeprazole, sti...

RSV vaccination

Just a heads up to all the pregnant mommas out there. If you are planning on getting the new RSV vaccination for pregnant women keep in mind that it's only for women in the gestational age of 34-36 weeks. My doctor never told me that there was a cut off on when I could receive the vaccination so I've gotta worry abo...

A sh*t-uation

Little dude has been p00ping non-stop for the last 2ish days. Some were solid at first, but now it’s just diarrhea. He’s 12 months, so we recently started introducing *more* cow milk, but he’s been having it for quite a while now. Other than that, we haven’t introduced any new allergens or anything. He’s got a hor...

Constipation

My baby hasn’t had a poo in over 24 hours. She’s just woken up absolutely screaming and inconsolable. She has a bottle an hour ago and not showing any sides of being hungry she’s also had her nappy changed. I think she’s in pain from not being able to poo. She’s been pretty gassy tonight and every time I’ve checked ...

Guilty

I accidentally hurt my baby's nail while cutting his nails, should I take him to hospital and get tetanus injection??? It bleeded little and then stopped. 😞I can't express the guilt I am feeling. Baby is fine he forgot about it he is playing.

Gagging

Is anyone else’s july babies sticking their hands so far into their mouth they gag? My little boy actually managed to make himself sick today doing it but I’m hesitant to put mittens on him as he’s a thumbsucker when he’s sleeping and if he can’t get his thumb into his mouth he’ll scrub his face so hard he wakes hi...

HELP!!😥

My little guy has not made a bowel movement for about 3 days. He’ll be 6 months on the 11th. I read that if they’re six months you can try water? Should I even be considering that? I’ve already called the nurse/peds but waiting to hear back from them.

Sticking tongue out -or not?

I keep seeing lots of photos of people's babies sticking their tongues out, and it's just occurred to me that I have never seen my little one stuck his tongue out at all. Is anyone else the same? He was checked for a tie when he was born. More curious than anything else.

Is anyone else’s baby still scared of water?

My 19m old daughter is still terrified. She’s been scared of baths since she turned one & we attempted to go swimming yesterday but to no avail. She’s absolutely terrified. Just wish I could make the fear go away for her 💔 Any ideas?! You’d never know she used to go swimming & even go under water until around this…

Constipation or Dyschezia?

My 8 week old has been struggling for the last week to poo. She is going bright red and clearly pushing with no joy. I thought it was constipation but her poos (when they eventually do come) are normal. She is in otherwise good health and no other symptoms other than difficulty pushing out a poo. Over the last few d...

Health Visitors always being bashed

I am a Health Visitor and a mum of two. I comment on posts on here as both but I always feel like we are being bashed on here. I’ve seen comments like we are ridiculous, doctors are idiots, HVs are stupid and out of order etc. does anyone else struggle with this? It’s like we are human too and I can imagine that mos...

3mo bub barely pooping.

For the last few weeks my 3mo boy has barely pooped. He is only breastfed, peeing regularly and his farts stank! Even my husband thinks they're super smelly haha. Bub seems to be acting fine to me, it just he has a shart every other day, should I be concerned?

My little one turns 1 29th November but he was 7 and half weeks premature and a twin so HV said they will do it on 9 months unless he's hitting majority of them then they will do 10 months too. Looking for some advice 🤍 My girl is 4 months old and since maybe 3 months, she’s started vomiting after every feed (regular first infant formula).
