Hubby did this to our 4m old. The nurses at hospital said it’s very common. To use an electric baby nail file. I wouldn’t worry. Keep it clean, the most they’ll do is put steri strips if it needs it

Wouldn’t worry I did this a couple of times when my LO was little. You feel so so guilty but baby will be fine. Just keep an eye on it and keep it clean xx

Just clean it with soap and water. I accidentally did this to my first baby when she was like a month old. I cried more than she did 😭

My other half did this when baby was about 3 months. He was fine, cried a lot but soon settled. We've now found we have to do his nails when he's having a nap or else he'll kick off

i done this when my baby was a few months old, hers got infected so i called doctor they told me clean it everyday with salty water and cotton wool

This happens to everyone. It’s normal and baby will be fine.
