Hi all, Need some ideas on how to get my little girl to eat lunch! Sheās had hand foot and mouth so the appetite has gone downhill however she refuses to entertain sandwiches for lunch, pasta etc. Iāve had to resort to āpicky bitsā on a tray and just hope and pray she eats them. Is anyone elseās like this? If so...
I know to avoid dairy and milk and offer water. Food wise I've been giving stuff like rusk biscuits, bread/toast, veggie straws. Is fruit like bananas a good idea or will the sweetness cause sickness? Any other ideas?
My girl is refusing all food at the moment because of her cold. I try every meal time but sheās really not fussed. She did have two yoghurts yesterday as it was the only thing sheād eat. Any other ideas?
What was your babies first food and how did you serve it š½ļø
My son was the biggest eater. He would eat so many meals plus snacks and light bits but now I canāt even get him to eat his breakfast itās driving me crazy. If he even was to eat a smaller portion then fine! I cut down the portion sizes but he wonāt eat anything more than 3 spoon fulls ā¦ he is picking to much during...
Ah I canāt be the only one going through this!!My LB is 7months Iām slowly introducing him to different flavours. My LB is exclusively breastfed. He has been having purĆ©e twice a day. Haha when I blend fruits and veg in the blender he literally doesnāt eat it, but when I buy already made pure breakfast like mango he...
Heās nearly 9 months but from day 1 of weaning heās absolutely loved food. He has never NOT finished a big bowl of food whatever that may be. For example breakfast he will have porridge or weetabix (1 or 1.5 weetabix) with 3oz milk and a whole banana and heās still looking for more. He could easily have more but he...
Hey girls, what typical snacks do you buy your toddlers? Iām not talking fruits and oat bars, what other snacks work in your household?
Anyone else baby struggling with anything more than smooth purĆ©e? My first I did a mix of purĆ©es and BLW and she was great with everything- obviously would gag if something too big to swallow etc but otherwise had no issues My boy this time cannot deal with anything that isnāt completely smooth and I donāt know wh...
Pleaseee can anyone give some advice on how to get my boy to sit in the high chair to eat his food. He will stay in it for a total of 5 minutes then want to get out and try to get out. I've tried what I feel like everything to disract him and try to get him to eat more than a few mouthfuls but nothing is working. ...
Is it bad to sometimes feed the baby something really lazy for dinner? š¤¦š¼āāļø Last night he had strawberry and banana porridge, a wafer and half a blackberry pudding cup. Heās not really into food yet so amount wise this was actually quite good for him but I felt bad that it wasnāt ādinnerā.
Have you started purĆ©es or foods for your LO yet . ? How much are you feeding them and what/when do you know if you should be feeding or milk. š
Does your one year old eat everything you serve them by themselves with their hands? Just wondering if youāre spoon feeding or just simply letting them do their thing with their hands and not interfering. My son will occasionally pick up some food and eat it himself and other times he refuses to touch it but will ac...
dinner earlier today for my girl was her fav carrot/sweet potato & cheese fritters, a savory rice pudding (just white rice and plain yogurt mixed together with some onion/garlic powder) & steamed broccoli drizzled with unsalted butter for extra healthy fat. she loved it all & finished off with an orange slice!
Hi mamas, my baby was never very into food but likes fruits. Still she liked meat and some vegetables. Recently she refuses everything. Every meal is a battle to keep her seated in highchair and she takes food in her mouth then spits it out. Im really getting frustrated, anyone going thru anything like this?
I honestly hate this baby led weaning. It scares me as she chocked badly once and itās really put me off giving her solids. I tend to just mash everything but Iām worried Iām holding her back as she is about to turn 11 months. Any advice - she isnāt a great eater at all but still enjoys her bottles
I work full time yes but the money isn't reaching for groceries... I can buy milk, water, eggs, bread, and cheese and chicken legs. I go to the food pantries and free food places, thank God for Wic. But right now we living on the bare minimum. Applied for food stamps and against my better judgement paid someone ther...

Yesterday I was out alone in the car with my 4 week old. I was absolutely starving so I decided to park directly outside Tesco express and quickly grab a meal deal. I left him asleep in his car seat in a comfortable temperature car for probably less than 2 mins. Getting the pram system set up takes so long and invol...
