Foods to give baby with a cold?

My girl is refusing all food at the moment because of her cold. I try every meal time but she’s really not fussed. She did have two yoghurts yesterday as it was the only thing she’d eat. Any other ideas?

Having the same issue, whether it's the cold or teething 🤷🏼‍♀️ Sometimes he'll have a couple of mouthfuls of warmed Ella's kitchen pouches or the occasional bite of toast or croissant but he's barely eaten anything in days. He used to munch everything in sight!

@Becky it’s so frustrating isn’t it! We’d just got to 3 meals a day too and now I’m worried we’re going backwards! She’ll eat a melty puff and sometimes some veg but most of it ends up on the floor, with a tantrum 😂

Our girls just had covid and hreated cheese was one of the only things we could get foen her and warn pouch food no BLW items

@Emma is that grated cheese? What type of cheese do you use? 😊

Yes greated cheese she can't get enough. We've done mixed mozzarella bag which is probably the softest. Mature cheddar. Helps work on the pincher grip as well. What was her safe go to foods are not at the moment and It's been frustrating 😕

@Emma what do you mean safe go-to? Why can’t she eat them now? Sorry I’m just worried I don’t want to give anything that I shouldn’t! I’ll definitely get some cheese today though and try that thank you x

My baby has Covid and being fussier than normal. I am trying with the usual foods she has just to give her something familiar. Yesterday she had some chicken soup and loved it x

@Bee did you make the chicken soup? X

@Amy yes homemade but my mum made it so I’ll ask her for the recipe and let you know. I had some roasted chicken drumsticks leftover so she used that and made a clear broth and added some egg and black pepper.

By safe go to foods I mean foods that she would finish. Porridge weatabix yogurt cucumber etc. She's also teething real bad and no teeth yet x

Thanks girls xx

@Amy my mum used a soup mix packet so not home made sorry! I hope your little one feels better soon xx

Thank you! X
