Food

Is it bad to sometimes feed the baby something really lazy for dinner? 🤦🏼‍♀️ Last night he had strawberry and banana porridge, a wafer and half a blackberry pudding cup. He’s not really into food yet so amount wise this was actually quite good for him but I felt bad that it wasn’t ’dinner’.

I think that's absolutely fine! They're not going to have gourmet dinners every night and it's more about exposure to food at this age anyway. My boy had soft cheese on toast and some defrosted spinach purée for tea last night as I'd been on the go all day and didn't have the energy to make proper food

In Germany and many other European countries dinner is actually just what you described. Not a big cooked meal, but something fairly light and easy to make, the most you would cook are eggs. So not a big deal at all!

Ive started doing this for some meals, I feel less stressed/frustrated when she doesnt eat as much or throws it on the floor so I actually think its better for everyone
