Baby with big appetite

He’s nearly 9 months but from day 1 of weaning he’s absolutely loved food. He has never NOT finished a big bowl of food whatever that may be. For example breakfast he will have porridge or weetabix (1 or 1.5 weetabix) with 3oz milk and a whole banana and he’s still looking for more. He could easily have more but he will definitely be sick 🫣 Yesterday lunch he had a whole piece of toast with hummus, a massive chunk of mozzarella, cucumber, a whole banana. Dinner he had chicken tagine and bulgur wheat and grapes after. Same portion size as his 4 year old sister! I keep seeing posts about babies hardly eating anything rather than the other way round and I feel like I’ve got a little boy who’s gonna eat me out of house and home for the rest of my life 😂

My baby isn’t as bad as yours but close enough 🤣 My LO hasn’t refused any food that’s been offered so far.

Just a quick question- how do you offer your baby grapes? I'd love to introduce grapes for my baby but worried about what size to cut and what shape

My little boy is 8 months and he's the same, he'll literally eat anything food wise that you put in front of him.

My baby is the same. He gets so mad if I don't feed him quick enough/ dare to have a bite of my own food in-between his bites! He just loves food, which I am so grateful for, and I hope it continues. My little girl was not quite as bad (or good, depending on how you look at it), but is still great at eating/ trying new things!

I am really grateful that he loves food but his sister was the same at this age then got fussier at 2/3 years old 🤣 I guess some babies have smaller appetites and some have bigger. But yeah we have cut waaaay down on milk now he has as little as 10oz on some days but he is eating like a 4 year old 🙈🙈🙈 I just hope he’s not completely out of the norm.

And yes I cut my grapes tiny probably in 8ths hahah

🤣 yes my older child was the exact same… ate everything until 2 and then became fussy.

Is he high percentile growth? Mine is a serial snacker on the boob or for food. Loves to try out different things but seems to eat for fun and not for hunger

@Alicia yeah he’s never been less than 75th, I don’t know what he is at the moment but he’s been close to 98th at one point. He’s probably about 75th again now at a guess. X
