How are you working mums coping🤯

I work 3 days a week but I’m working 9/10 hour shifts, my LO goes nursery on these days and it’s £70 a day😣 me and my husband are lucky and are on very good salaries so neither one of us could stop working and take our LO out of nursery to save costs and be entitled to any benefits or afford to cover all our bills…

Is only two months maternity legal?

I've only got two months full pay, and then 4 months half pay for maternity. I've accepted this, it's not great but I'm working right up to the end. One of my family members now says I should check that as by law she got 6 months paid back in the 90s....I'm 36 weeks and I just can't be arsed with arguing that things...

A few months ago, I attempted to apply for child benefit, but when I reached the final pages asking about salary range, I thought we might not be eligible, so I didn't proceed. I travel a lot with my partner for his work and I usually just stay home with the baby in our travel home. I would like to make my own income in the meantime. Do y'all have any ideas? I'm super stumped but I'd love to have the freedom of my own money. We argue about it sometimes too because I can't really work a "no...

Do you still see your PCP

While you’re pregnant, are you still visiting your pcp for any reasons? I was supposed to have a well check up before I got pregnant that I never showed up due to my insurance lapsing but by the time I got my insurance back, I was pregnant. 🤷🏽‍♀️ what’s your experience with this, if any?

wfh job available

There’s a wfh job that will pay you based on your expertise. For example, if you majored in biology then you can get up to 50/hour tasking. The only requirement is a LinkedIn profile and/or 3 years of higher education I believe. Drop your name and email to be referred. :)

Does anyone manage to put any money away in savings?

I feel like I’m living pay check to pay check. I would say I have a decent wage, had a significant pay rise but it still doesn’t help. Bills get higher and higher. Hardly any money leftover. Now relying on my credit card. Is this what everyone’s going through?
