maternity pay
Work are being a pain, I have HG sickness and don’t seek to get I can’t work. If I was to hand my notice in. (They are driving me mad) anyone know if I’d get sick pay through the government? Also would I get maternity leave pay?

Speak to your GP and get sick note it’s better to be on the same side. I’ve been made redundant and now I don’t have work maternity pay! I think I will just rely on the government
Yes so I have been on a sick note the whole time. Just getting on my nerves asking me to come back etc. Work aren’t going to pay maternity pay so it’s the gov anyway?
I think you have to be employed to be entitled to maternity pay and sick pay! im not 100% though
You have to be employed to be entitled to statutory maternity pay, but you might be able to get maternity allowance if you have worked long enough (being off sick counts as being employed)
Talk to your gp and get a sick note
