Can anyone recommend activities for mum on maternity leave?

Feel like I’m going insane. I need something to do but something that either costs nothing or cheap as SMP is not great. Thank you :)

Anyone making an additional income on top of their regular? How do you fit it in with family life? What do you do?

Would like to boost our savings a little but every penny is accounted for at the moment. Have looked at finding a second income but unsure where to start.. I can’t work extra hours outside our home due to childcare issues and car sharing. Any help is appreciated.

Telling work you’re pregnant

Hi everyone! Wondering if you have told your employers about your pregnancy yet? I’m 20 weeks now so have another four weeks before I legally have to tell them, but feel like I’m showing now and need to say something when everyone gets back to the office after the summer break. I am quite senior in a big corporat...

Requesting maternity notes.

Has anyone recently tried to request their maternity notes? They sent me them on a disc and I have nowhere at work or home that will take a disc to view the files. Asked for paper files and they want to charge £50. I got my notes from my first birth 2 years earlier and didn’t have to pay for paper files.

Travel Insurance

Morning all, Have people purchased travel insurance while being pregnant? Doing the normal comparison websites online, it doesn’t seem to give you the option to declare pregnancy - which on a Google search I think that perhaps we don’t have to? Thanks!

Really confused about the 15 hour free entitlement

I currently and my little one 3 days a week and pay around £730 a month. I’ve been told the 15 hours is actually 11hours of entitlement and that after stretching payments across the 52 weeks I’ll be paying £550. This still seems like a lot and I don’t know how to work it out? Someone else I know has been given the...

Nobody cares I know 😭

Our baby just turned 1. I'm due with baby #2 next month. I'm so annoyed with my husband. If I didn't have a dr appt with my OB Monday and wasn't scheduled to work this week. I'd take off to my mom's with my baby. If my insurance didn't expire this month, I'd cancel that appointment. If my husband could support us fi...

How much did hiring a midwife cost

How much did doing a natural birth cost you outside of the hospital setting? I need advice on how to get my man on board with going the birth center or home birth route. I want to compare our insurance deductible compared to what doing a home birth with a midwife would cost.
