Got a letter saying I paid too little tax from HMRC
Got a letter through the post saying I owe them money cause I didn’t pay enough tax? Can someone explain this to me I don’t understand I’ve been on mat leave since last August and had 3 paychecks between April and August. I did get enhanced maternity leave from my employer but how does that work I didn’t pay enough tax??

No it’s genuine the letter - I went online to check through government gateway. My employer has probably fucked up somewhere
Definitely ring then as it seems something has gone wrong somewhere… if they can’t help you sort it, they should be able to point you in the right direction
