My 4 1/2 month old shows a lot of interest in crawling and is also always pushing up on his feet to stand. When he tries to crawl he doesn’t use his arms and just inch worms forward. If he’s refusing to support his body on his arms is something wrong? Even when I place toys a little higher up for him to grab he won’...
My little bg will be 2 on 16th November, she's said a matter of 5 words doesn't talk much at all, her 9yr old sister was a quick learner and talker, she's said a matter of 5 words and doesn't use them repeatedly at all rather just sit and play, she's now refusing her high chair hangs and drops out, dives off settee ...
Ftm don’t know what to expect I don’t know if my daughter is in pain or if it’s a tantrum started in the car continued in the house I mean hysterical inconsolable pointing to car then if I went to car pointing to house nothing soothing her nothing calming if cuddle her she throws back and almost slips out my arms bu...
My LG keeps touching my elbows - if I try to stop it she has a full on meltdown. I read online it’s a sensory thing but i just don’t want her to have a habit, no sure what do or even think , as it’s not normal. Is anyone else experiencing this ?
Could anyone point me in the right direction of how to handle ‘tantrums’ with my little boy. Anything can set him off but usually more so when tired and can’t communicate what he would like. Calming him down is what I’m struggling with. Are there any phrases / techniques I can use that might work better? I have trie...
Basically some kids prioritize one, other the other, which is visible at this age. So a talker only has a first word (or multiple) but no independent steps. A walker walks independently but has no first words yet.
My Lo is nearly 8 months old now and has just started to screaming whenever I try to change his nappy or get him dressed, he gets himself in such a state. As soon as I sit him up he stops, I’ve tried giving him a toy, putting on the tele and nothing seems to help- plz tell me this is just a phase 😩
Hi, Can you tell me if you know any symptoms for babies from 6 months I can watch out if my LO got autism. I get the feeling that he is autistic but idk. Probably I am paranoid or something. If you know the symptoms I can observe from now. Thanks
How many words can your 18 month old say?
I’m still so petrified when my little one hits her head. She’s just tried to climb the sofa. She can’t as she’s not tall enough so always needs help up. She put her leg up to try herself and lost balance then falling sideways and then banged her head on the floor. She instantly cried and I got her and cuddled her. S...
I feel quite ashamed of this hence posting incognito. I am autistic and I have always had a stim of clapping when I am overstimulated and overwhelmed. Since my baby was born there have been a handful of times where he is crying or screaming usually around sleep and I find it really difficult. Firstly because he's ...
Morning! Just after some reassurance really, my son is 6 months old and over the past 3-4 weeks has started screeching and yelling (sometimes a lot 🥲) sometimes he seems quite annoyed when he’s doing it, like when I’m trying to get ready and he wants my attention, sometimes he screeches and then smiles and giggles…
I know I shouldn't compare other babies to her but it's really hard not to. She is 16 months old and she's not walking, cruising and pulling to stand ect though. I see other babies around who are a lot younger and they are walking and have shoes and just look more like a toddler rather than a baby. Either watching o...
Can’t believe my dude turning 1 in 3 weeks. Time flies.. My son hates shoes, any suggestions?
Anyone else's baby throwing themselves backwards repeatedly? She's been doing it a while and she absolutely loves it, anytime she's sat up, whether it's on me or next to me on the sofa, she throws herself backwards, sits herself back up again (sometimes with help 😅) and then does it again! It's like a little game…
My 10 month old is like a vicious little monster lol she is constantly hitting and scratching people in the face. I tell her no but if I hold her had so she can't do it and tell her no at the same time she laughs. I'm lost my older girls weren't like this so I don't know what else to do
All I have to say is my 22 month old is driving me insane.
My daughter screams all the time.. and it’s not just a little scream it’s the most horrific ear bleeding scream. She does it when I say no mostly so I stopped saying no and tried the give another option idea but she still screams. She also screams when she’s playing. I could ignore it for a while but by the end of t...
I know all babies develop at their own time but it’s really hard having a 13 month old who still isn’t walking. She’s been crawling and pulling up on things for months. She’ll walk holding my hands but won’t even stand up by herself yet. She’s the last of her friends her age to not be walking. They’re all running by...
My son is head banging a lot when frustrated! He’s now got a nasty bruise on his head from it:( heartbreaking watching it but is anyone else’s little one doing this?
