Screaming when being changed / dressed

My Lo is nearly 8 months old now and has just started to screaming whenever I try to change his nappy or get him dressed, he gets himself in such a state. As soon as I sit him up he stops, I’ve tried giving him a toy, putting on the tele and nothing seems to help- plz tell me this is just a phase 😩

I think it is a phase, my LB is doing the same: feels like I’m trying to fight a crocodile with every change🥲

I give her wetwipes packet and a nappy which satisfies her

I think most babies do this. Mine hates putting clothes on too! I keep a stash of toys she hasn't seen in a very long time, or hand her a wooden spoon... Anything really to keep her occupied. It's enough to buy me one minute or so to get the clothes on or change that nappy!

I usually give my boy a random object to hold while I change him. A rubber washing up glove is his favourite at the moment😅

I could have written this! Nothing helps other than singing and even then its only for a short time

@Becky same here

Hi its a phase .. mine LO does the same as described so i either fetch something to give her and that keeps her bit busy to complete changing but sometimes it seems these crocodile rolls are too irritating. So just a phase I would say😊

We’re the same - agreed with the random object. We’ve also hooked him on baby shark by getting super excited whenever it plays so now he does too.. seems to work most of the time 😂

Singing and giving her the small sudacrem tub to play with seems to work. Anything related to changing or patting. Like we sing postman pat as I pat her bum dry.
