My pediatrician said I can start my little one on purées at his 4 month check up. I’m not sure how often I should be feeding him. He is breastfeeding as well, and usually he eats every 4 hours. So what I’ve been doing is, I have been breast-feeding him and pumping every two hours to keep my milk supply up and make m...
Baby is 9 months old and has had diarrhoea poo 8 times today now. I rang the gp earlier but receptionist said that without other symptoms such as temperature they won’t see him. He seems fine in himself but was just wondering what foods I could give him. He loves to eat and is breastfed. I’ve only given him breast m...
When you see this photo of a child’s lunch what are your FIRST initial thoughts? (Judgemental or non judgmental all are welcome) If you have negative opinions are they fueled by media/society or are they fueled by what you personally practice in your home for your children? With your reaction, does it come from a pl...
Ladiesss! What are we really doing about this during meal time? It’s so frustrating! I am currently giving little one small portions at a time (on her high chair tray), working very hard on timing meals, and having a ‘dump’ bowl on her tray nearby for her to put the food in. But food still ends up on the floor. And ...
My little one turned one on the 15th, he is a big foodie but recently anything I put infront of him he just chucks on the floor to the point he is hardly eating anything, he will now look me directly in the eye and throw it 😂 how do you overcome this?!
I know most food can be served once they turn 1. I’m just wondering can I have tuna? And should it be just brine water, not the oil ones?
Posting incog because I really don't need a lot of people coming at me but... I really don't get it. I see so many moms giving their babies purees at 4 months at even earlier. What's the rush? I know some babies can be cleared for solids before 6 months, but like, why hurry? It's more work than just feeding baby mil...
Ok here's a conflicting subject. Do you give your 15 month old Ketchup? I'm am just starting to introduce sauces to my 15m old but on the fence with this one becuase of the salt and sugar. It wouldn't be much since I dont give a lot of sauce (she's not a really saucy kind of girl) but still not sure. Let me know.
So my LG is nearly 7 months, we started with purées just before she was 5 months, but for the last few weeks, especially now she has 2 teeth, she just wants what we have. I’m a FTM and find BLW so scary, but I know she enjoys it and doesn’t like bland food. Can anyone give me ideas I can start doing for her plea...
My 15 month old baby girl is not eating well, she likes fruits so I give her that for breakfast and cheerios some days, she does like pancakes, waffles, toast... Nothing but fruits. Lunch and dinner are a nightmare, she won't eat, sometimes she'll eat meat, rice, beans and THAT'S IT! she won't eat veggies or anythin...
My daughter is very independent and she will wake up around 6am and go straight into the living room and watch bluey and play with her toys. She doesn’t wake anyone else up until around 10 am which I’m very grateful for because my 7m old has me up all night. I make her a little lunchbox that my husband takes out of...
So I soak the chia seeds with almond milk and then blend mangoes and mix it together let it sit overnight then give it to her but I’m worry that those chias/seed can effect her tummy because they are hard even after soaking they a bit chewable. Scared it can harm her kidneys or something please advice moms.
He's about to be 3, and we have recently stopped using the highchair/boosterseat, so he's not strapped in any more. He's discovered that he can get off the chair now, and every meal time is a battle... takes a bite, does a lap around the table, takes a bite, and needs to go find a toy. I'm trying to be firm with him...
Curious to know what your little ones have a day?
Has anyone given their 5 month old any 6 month old jars? My LO is so hungry she’s ready for food but they don’t do many jars for 4 months plus so can I give her the 6 months as it’s only a month away!?
I didn’t do the blw because my little one already struggling with choking a lot. I’m kicking myself now as I’m trying to get her to chew more. What foods are you doing at 7 months? How many oz is your baby getting with being BF? What’s their schedule? I need some advice/help
FTM here. My girl is 7 months and I haven't started weaning properly. Just started pureed veg a few times but she doesn't like it and gags and spits out. She doesn't mind some fruits and prefers to hold and feed herself so am doing BLW with some things. Am struggling 😞 would love to give her more purees as BLW…
What other cheeses can I give to my 10M old? I only give her cottage cheese
Does anyone else have a baby who is struggling with solids? Specifically an exclusively breast fed baby that is point blank refusing to eat most solids. 12 months old and recently started nursery but is unable to complete full days because she will not take solids, won’t take expressed milk from a bottle and is ther...
I'm not sure if I'm looking for advice or just ranting. I am not with my daughters father, and he comes to see her about an hour and a half / 2 hours at a push a day. I want to start weaning her as I feel like 7 months is old enough, but he will not let me. We've had a lot of arguments about it lately. He keeps sa...
