Diarrhoea in baby

Baby is 9 months old and has had diarrhoea poo 8 times today now. I rang the gp earlier but receptionist said that without other symptoms such as temperature they won’t see him. He seems fine in himself but was just wondering what foods I could give him. He loves to eat and is breastfed. I’ve only given him breast milk all day and a banana but he seems to be wanting more. Any help would be appreciated 🫶🏽

Could they be teething? My baby gets bad diarrhoea when she is x

If he’s looking like he wants more feed him as you normally would. As long as he’s having plenty of breast milk that will rehydrate him but look back and see if there’s anything he may have eaten that may have triggered it. Not just allergies but foods that are natural laxatives (humous, grapes etc)

@Shannon I think he may be teething as he hasn’t had any teeth cut through yet. But is super watery diarrhoea normal for teething?

For my daughter, there is definitely a correlation. We try and keep feeding her as normal if she'll take it and make sure she has plenty of fluids to replenish, and keep an eye on temperature and for any other symptoms x
