Alone

I'm feeling a bit isolated in my love for the outdoors. It's tough finding friends who share the same passions nearby. While my husband joins occasionally, it's clear he's not as into it & just trying to give me the company I'm seeking. I deeply appreciate his efforts, but it's not quite the same. Most days, I end u...

Anyone else?..

I’ve felt like this for a long time but it’s gradually getting worse.. I do suffer with depression and anxiety and other mental health conditions too, but I literally feel like my brain is melting or degrading each day I wake up. I get NO pleasure, happiness, excitement or stimulation from absolutely anything or any...

Is anyone else not feeling quite themselves still?

Not sure what I mean by this. I don’t think I’m down or depressed but I just don’t feel like myself. Anyone else able to elaborate or normalise this feeling 18 months into motherhood?

Feeling “touched out” and annoyed.

Husband has gone deep sea fishing, working on boat, out with the guys a few times, etc. I’m at home taking care of little one. I want a day or two to myself. I feel guilty. The only time away is an hour or two when I go to the gym.

Feeling lonely

Does anyone else feel quite lonely? I’ve always been pretty happy in my own company and obviously I now have my baby for company but sometimes the days can feel so long. It feels a bit like I’ve been forgotten about by everyone. Family are retired but make very little effort to see us unless I arrange it with them a...

Just need some place to vent tbh. Me and my fiancée are splitting up and I’m having to move back in with my parents with my 2 year old. I feel like a loser, I feel like why did I ever get myself in this situation? Lots of mental and physical abuse and I just can’t stay any longer. I’m also a stay at home mom so I ha...

Why do I feel this way

I live in a really isolated place / small town and there isn’t much to do here unless you have friends which I don’t… Since giving birth 9 weeks I rarely leave my house unless it’s just for errands or my babies grandparents which is a highlight in my life right now! But I’d feel bad going there all the time special...

Social anxiety

I would love to meet other mamas w social anxiety. Other people can't rely. They think it is like a switch you can just turn on/off or that I'm making it up. My social anxiety is not crazy bad, but it is affecting me. I overthing lot or not think then say something dumb I later regret. Can't be myself.

How do people manage it?

I see you at the end of my tether when it comes to money as a single parent. I have a really well paying job, and my daughter only does three days of nursery a week. I don’t pay for netflix, takeaway coffees, or takeaways. I got rid of my car. I have nothing else to give up! My shower has just broken and I can’t af...
