Hi everyone, i wanted to hear everyone’s opinion on the age to start putting cereal in the babies milk, how much, how often and what brands are recommended? heard the gerber is too high in iron and some say u can blend normal oats and feed them. What’s yall opinions?
Fine grated apple, Greek yogurt, smooth peanut butter and a couple of raspberries
Anyone have any book or website recommendations ☺️
I’ve been giving a few of these to my almost 11 month old with meals like I would other crisps, and she’s been loving them (had them maybe twice) but I’ve just realised they say 3+! 😦 Do you think they will be okay to continue feeding? The salt content is 0.06g per 100g so not big and I should imagine the age…
My son is going through a phase of basically refusing to eat. I’m not sure the reason but would love some suggestions of a nutrition booster I could add to the few foods he will eat. I’ve already been adding a freeze dried veggie powder to savory foods (pasta sauce, pizza sauce, etc) but am in search of something to...
Anyone else's 10month old just having 150mls bottles 4-5times a day. I am having hard time with giving him meals as he refuses to eat anything. Wont open his mouth for spoon and just plays with the food if we do BLW. I really dont know what to do. How is everyone coping with a baby who doesnt like to eat much. I rea...
So hubby and I go out to eat we both order our own meals and then a side of prawns to share. This guy really ate all the prawns and I had just one. I find that so inconsiderate and such a turn off…. He does this often 😒😒
How often do you let you child have things like juice (blackcurrant squash ) chocolate or chocolate biscuits and crisps
Anyone have time to make themselves lunch/ dinner when you have a baby? There's days when I haven't got the time as he decides he doesn't want to nap, he's one of those babies where I can't put him down and wants to be held and doesn't want to play by himself!
Little one won’t eat. Give him purée - spits out, food - won’t touch. I don’t know what to do anymore
My 6months old has started rejecting her solids all of a sudden, she used to accept and eat almost anything I give her but suddenly she started rejecting everything except milk, if I try to persist she’d scream and throw tantrums and spit it on my face. What can I do cos I am losing my cool already 😖
When you cook food for the family (inc baby) do you make a separate portion for baby without salt or do you give whatever you’re having? Also if you’re going out to eat in a restaurant, do you request for the restaurant to make seperate food for baby without salt?
My 11 month old is barely interested in food 😂 It’s a push to get 2 meals a day out of her - she is still breastfed and does drink plenty milk. Any tips to help with encouraging more food. Or will this just happen naturally
My son is 10 months and so far we have just been doing puree and baby snacks (melty sticks etc) he has started to not like being spoon fed and would much rather feed himself his snacks and trying to grab food that i am eating (also has nearly 8 teeth) so i think he is more than ready for finger foods etc but i am ab...
My LO is coming up to 19months. They say you can't overfeed a baby, but I've never agreed with this. My LO has never not finished a bottle *even when I offered him 7oz of milk when he was 3 weeks old that landed us in A&E) he never leaves food, is very food orientated and begs for food when we are eating. He's never...
I have a fussy eater, but we have made some progress in the past few months, but meal times seem to take forever to get him eat. We're sitting for around 45 mins to an hour each time 😭
If any chance someone is having chewing and swallowing issues with toddler. Let me know so I could share research and information I got from meeting with a professional. That my doctor never gave me or bother asking further questions about.
For those who are having 1st birthday parties for their LO’s what party food are you thinking of doing for a combination of adults, kids and babies?
So it’s been a challenging time trying to get him eating different foods. I understand an aversion here and there but he’s turning 2 in a few months and I’m at my wits end. His safe foods are weetabix with fruit yogurt (normal yogurt is always a no). Grapes, watermelon, apples, banana, oat bars, crisps, some biscui...
Anyone else's baby not on 3 meals a day yet? Mine is 9 months in a few days and just doesn't seem ready. I offer breakfast and lunch, they eat such small amounts and it seems to take forever, I can be sat at the table with them for a full hour. I feel like we're still in the playing/touching/tasting stage, my baby s...
