My son has a cup of juice everyday as we put his vitamins in it! Chocolate and crisps every so often, but we’re not too bothered by that sort of thing really

@Kelly how often is every so often ? Xx

He can have juice when he likes as long as it’s the sugar free stuff and he has open access to our snack box

My daughter has juice every day and she can have crisps and chocolate when she asks. I am not strict on stuff like that

What vitamins does everyone give ?

Usually when we go out for the day, we go to the cafe and he has crisps and something sweet! I’m not really that strict on it though, he eats well otherwise so I’m happy for him to have it

She eats crisp 3 times a week Juice bout 4 times a month

Juice every day, crisps (kids) most days. chocolate he tends to go through ‘phases’ as if he gets given some as gift from grandparents etc he can have some every day until it runs out, but we don’t buy it for him unless it’s special occasion.

Some form of treat every day to be honest like a biscuit, or crisps. We’re not strict on sweet treats. Our girl loves water so she doesn’t really drink anything else - she’s probably tried juice or squash less than a handful of times.

Juice only very rarely if eating out a cafe or something. Crisps never. Chocolate, cake or biscuits usually once a week or so at the weekend but not too fussed, would probably be more when away on holiday etc

@Corinne same here

Most days

He have a treat every day after dinner, either a tiny piece of chocolate or yogurt or crisps x

Juice is once in a blue moon when we're out at a cafe or restaurant. Chocolates and biscuits again not often at all, if we have them at home in the rare occasion then she'll have a small bit. And she's never had crisps 😅. Mine just constantly asks for bananas! 🙃

Now and then whenever she’s in need of a snack, like a little bit of crisps and fruit. I don’t prioritise it though. I try to avoid chocolate/sweets, she gets so hyper. Diluted juice but very diluted to the point it’s nearly clear. Chocolate biscuits, usually whenever we’re having a cup of tea/coffee. Most times she eats them when we’re eating them lool x

I always prioritise fruits before chocolate or biscuits. If we are going out I will do a packed lunch with fruits and crisps etc in it but the fruit would be the first thing to eat and then the crisps/ chocolate etc. I give squash but a very watered down version but prioritise milk or water as juice can impact on their teeth. I think everything in moderation and what you feel comfortable with is important.

My LO has sugar free squash everyday, occasionally water, unfortunately I made the mistake of letting him have squash and now he won’t drink water and I don’t want him to be dehydrated so I guess let him have squash.. bad I know 🙈 He has choc coins most days as we are potty training and things like sweets, biscuits and cakes most weekends but not really in the week. I try to offer him fruit, cheese, rice cakes and crab sticks for snacks but it’s inevitable he will eat rubbish too x

Never given her crisps , chocolate or any kind of junk. She's never asked for it either. She snacks on fruit, banana cake homemade, crackers, Greek yogurt. Juice is only rare and if out and about. Drinks whole milk and water mainly. She will eat bday cake at parties and I know she does at nursery when it's a bday.
