This could be a niche question but has anyone experienced keloid scarring and proceeded to have a 2nd c-section? If so, did they cut the same incision or make a new one? Also, what’s the scarring like 2nd time round?

Please share your stories for choosing c-sections! At my hospital 85% of births are delivered via c-section. It hadn’t crossed my mind to even be an option before this pregnancy. I have pregnancy complications and have been advised to think about getting an elective c-section. It terrifies me tbh!

I’m due in mid Dec and live about a 20 minute walk from Lewisham hospital. Does anyone have suggestions as to how we can get there when the time comes? I’m assuming my usual options of walking, cycling and public transport will be out! I’ve also heard Ubers can be a bit unsure about taking someone in labor? Thanks!
