My son has had four days of school so far, and I have already had to purchase another pair of shoes for him. Within four days, he has scuffed and ripped the front of his shoes really badly. I buy them from Asda, because he ruins shoes so quickly that I do not want to pay expensive prices to replace them often. If I ...
Starting the school tours etc ready for admissions. I myself work in a school, I found it really hard to pick a nursery and I’m sure school won’t be easier. On paper, the schools I prefer are both a drive away (12mins and 15mins) as opposed to the school in our village which is a 5min walk. Ignoring catchment are...

Is anyone else looking at schools at the moment. I'm finding it so hard to decide which order to put them in. What do you consider when looking at schools? Do you contact the school to look round? How seriously do you take instead reports? Seems like so little information for such an important decision.
I'm currently on UC and surviving but wanted to put my son in nursery for 1-2 days a week for social development and to get a tiny bit of a break. I want to use the free 15 hours you get so I need to be working to qualify. Does anyone know how much you need to earn before your UC payment is reduced? I'm trying to w...
I’m debating being a SAHM or sending my daughter to daycare. She’s my first and aside that I’m still not familiar enough with the area so it’s a big maybe on daycare. What is the quickest way to get childcare assistance?
My daughter just turned 9 months and I want to start looking for work for myself. First day at nursery today 😫❤️
Will our babies qualify for the hours at 9 months or is it the term after 9 months? So will they get the funding from October or will it not be until January 2026?
I'm just wondering if you have to use all 15 hours of childcare or can you just use some of them?
My daughter will be 1 on the 12th 😁 yesterday she learned how to go down the slide by herself. She climbed up the playground and went down the slide over and over all by herself.
