Are Clark’s school shoes worth it?

My son has had four days of school so far, and I have already had to purchase another pair of shoes for him. Within four days, he has scuffed and ripped the front of his shoes really badly. I buy them from Asda, because he ruins shoes so quickly that I do not want to pay expensive prices to replace them often. If I pay for Clark’s school shoes, will it be worth it? I was told they are less likely to scuff and ruin so quickly, but I do not want to risk paying such a high price on shoes for them to ruin just as quick as the cheaper pairs I’m buying.

I think theyre more hard wearing but theyre so expensive and ugly as hell 😂 I would recommend Kickers for boys, they last the whole year round. This year I got my sons from MandM direct and they're considerably cheaper than high street.

@Alice thank you! I will definitely looking at buying a pair of those, as I guarantee I will be buying another pair within a week😂

No! Get the adidas black trainers! They lasted my boy 10 months! (That’s if your school allows black trainers)

Check out Clark outlet its cheaper than Clark’s https://www.clarksoutlet.co.uk

Get clarks off vinted, still the quality but not the price tag

Marks and Spencer school shoes are excellent! Really long lasting and comfortable, and lots of styles available.

@Emily I think they do, I will have a look at them😊 thank you!

@Idil I’ve never heard of this! I’m so glad you showed me this x

Apparently not good quality these days. Adidas Tensaur are brilliant

I always get Clark’s for mine when at primary school. Last the whole year and if they break before they outgrow them they replace for free so worth the extra. I always get from an outlet then they are cheaper x

I've always got Clarks for my boys through primary school, they last so well! bought one pair from Asda once that lasted a couple of weeks tops 😫

I would say yes. We always get clarks for our boy and never needed to change them until he outgrew them. We buy them usually from JL when they have 30% off, but lately I saw quite few of them in tkmaxx as well.

My little boy has Clarks shoes that have a high toe bumper to prevent scuffing. It's only been 4 days but they aren't marked yet!

Clark’s are not as good anymore. We had to take three pairs back last year! Not worth the money

@Laurie three people have now recommended these, I will have to give them a try

@Vicki they replace for free? Is that just if they break I’m guessing. My kid drags his feet and scuffs every shoes he owns

I just looked at my little boy's shoes and they are actually Start Rite, not Clarks! Whoops!!

@Shannon I am not sure on the details. The lady in the shop told me and my daughter had a pair and the stitching came undone and they replaced them
